NorCal Ruck 2025

Join us for an all-day event to help you get ready for an upcoming season of long-distance hiking!

• 8:00-8:45 -- Breakfast and Check-in

• 8:45-9:00 -- Welcome from the ALDHA-West Board

• 9:00-10:00 -- The Bigfoot Trail, with Mary "Fireweed" Kwart

• 10:00-10:15 -- Break

• 10:15-11:00 -- Trail-Specific Breakout Sessions

  • Tahoe Rim Trail, Bay Area Ridge Trail, Bigfoot Trail, American Discovery Trail, San Diego Trans County Trail, Camino de Santiago, Pacific Crest Trail, John Muir Trail, and possibly more TBD

• 11:00-12:00 -- Hiking Safely in 2025

• 12:00-13:00 -- LUNCH

• 13:00-14:00 -- Panel Discussion on Gear and Hiking "Hacks"

• 14:00-15:00 -- Pack Shakedowns 1:1 / or visit with trail organizations

  • Tahoe Rim Trail Association, Bay Area Ridge Trail, Bigfoot Trail Alliance, American Discovery Trail, Pacific Crest Trail Association

• 15:00-15:30 -- Legendary Gear Raffle really, the raffle is worth the price of attendance :) 

• 15:30-16:00 -- Clean-up and Leave no Trace
